Our charitable foundation welcomes applications for financial assistance from owners of retired police dogs who have an active membership with the foundation.
As a registered charity, we kindly ask that you speak to your treatment provider and ask for a charity discount on any treatment or medication. If they require proof that your dog is supported by our charitable foundation, please contact us and our team can provide a bespoke letter of authentication for you.
Financial assistance applications are assessed, and grants awarded based on available charity funds, and whilst our aim will always be to cover the cost of treatment in full, there may be times where we provide a percentage contribution towards the costs. As owners of a retired police dog, you’re ultimately responsible for meeting the costs associated with the veterinary and rehabilitation treatment of your retired police dog, and this should always be a consideration when undertaking any treatment not pre-authorised by the foundation.
To submit your application for financial assistance, please follow the below steps:
Obtain itemised PDF digital copies of your retired police dog’s treatment or medication invoices, we do not accept photos, screenshots or scanned invoices.
Complete our application form for financial assistance below, we do not accept handwritten or forms sent via email.
Our board of trustees will aim to review applications for financial assistances and provide an outcome within eight weeks from the date of receipt.
