Since our launch in 2020, the Thin Blue Paw Foundation has been there for serving and retired police dogs in need across the United Kingdom. From supplying serving police dog handlers with canine first aid kits to covering life-saving surgeries for retired police dogs in urgent need, we can only continue our work thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

A gift in your will to the Thin Blue Paw Foundation is a wonderful way to honour your love for these brave and heroic dogs, leaving a lasting legacy that ensures they receive the support they deserve. Gifts in wills are vital to all aspects of our work, and any contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference to our Foundation.

By remembering the Thin Blue Paw Foundation in your will, you’ll help ensure that we can continue to support serving and retired police dogs for as long as they need us.

HOW TO LEAVE YOUR LEGACY

If you would like to leave a gift in your will to our Foundation, we strongly recommend you that you speak to a solicitor to ensure that your wishes will be carried out as you intend.

You will need to take the following details with you:

An example of wording you could use:

I leave X / a X% share of my residuary estate for the Thin Blue Paw Foundation, Harpenden Hall, Southdown Rd, Harpenden AL5 1TE (registered charity number: 1190959) for its general charitable purposes and I declare that the receipt of the proper officer for the time being of the said charity shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors.
